Craft: Duct Tape tri-fold wallet

I'm finally getting use to not having to write 6 papers for school on the weekends. I've been filling my social calendar and also crafting things. Last weekend was woodworking. And this (last----is that right?) weekend was duct tape wallets.

I think I watched like 20 YouTube videos on how to make duct tape wallets. This was my first attempt at a nice tri-fold design.

I think it came out pretty nice! I've already started on another one with v-pockets & a little cleaner design. AND I have 2 order requests for friends. ^^

This weekend I'll be crafting a duct tape clutch. Or maybe a case for my Kindle.

WIP: book writing is fun..

...but difficult when you are terrible at spelling and proper grammar. But I've had this story in my head and I have tons of free time now.

Here's a snippet if what I'm working on:

Why should I care anymore? It's not like it matters, this proves that eventually all humans will become a shadow of themselves. There's nothing that can save them. There's no reason for me to seek them out again.

Violet whimpers loudly as she watched Jordan rise from the ground and stagger towards Brenda's lifeless body. He cocks his head to the side, and for a brief moment Violet thought he hadn't turned. The hairs on her back stood straight up when Jordan threw his head back, let out a deep, hungry growl, and then ripped into Brenda's beautiful face.

Maybe I should look for that pack of wild dogs. I could join them, run wild, and free of humans for the rest of this miserable life.

She glares down at the rotting biters, all of them gorging themselves on her dead companions. The biters are unmoved by the blazing fire that is now consuming them.

Disgusting, vile creatures. Violet lifts her head to the dark, smoke filled sky and howls her promise:

For as long as I live on this damned planet, I will never trust my heart to another human being.

Rambling: First round done! Break time! Err, I think.

I'm writing this quickie post on the BlogPress app and I'm annoyed that the app doesn't allow you to turn horizontal. I know #firstworldproblems, but its really annoying!

So I'm done with my MA program! I'm not sure when I take the certification test and the TEAS for nursing school... but I'm taking this week off to goof off.

And by goof off I mean scrub the house, pack up summer clothes, clean out the fridge, and rake up leaves. And of course find time to catch up on anime, TV shows, an movies...

....and my crafting: blinging out phone cases, paper art, sketching, digital comics for Z-bot.

...did I mention I am writing a ebook?

It's only been 5 days since the end of classes and I feel like I have less time when I was working 2 jobs, going to practicum, and classes. I always do this to myself..I just can't be still.

I need to take up meditation again to quiet myself. Or drugs, I could take drugs. :P

Baby conure, sketching again, school...

Jedi-Knight-bird!

It's been almost a month since we adopted Baby, she's such a fun little baby bird. A little bit of a nibbler, but we are working on trying to get her to stop that. If you follow me on InstaGram I'm sure you saw the photo of her biting my eye lid. Yeah, totally bad idea; she flipped my eyelid inside out! LOL.

I've been sketching again, I am going to do a whole series of chicks and origami. ^^ I'm pretty happy about how this turned out. I might do a digital art so that I can play with some colors. I wish I had time to paint again. I totally see some watercolor splashes....

GUESS WHAT!???!?!? I have two weeks left of school! Then it's mini break time.. and then study for TEAS, apply for nursing school. Oy, I'm not looking forward to that. But, I am looking forwarded to a few months with no school! I just need to hang on for two mo' weeks.

((i can do it, i can do it, i can do it, i can do it....))
